Removal of unwanted body hair for people with sensitive skin (commonly legs, arms, underarms, bikini line as per label)
Depilatory creams work by breaking the disulfide bonds in keratin (hair protein) using thioglycolate in an alkaline base. This weakens hair at the skin surface so it can be wiped off, leaving skin smoother for a few days.
For external use only. Do a patch test 24 hours before use. Apply an even layer on clean, dry skin to cover hair; do not rub. Leave for the time mentioned on the pack (typically 3–6 minutes; do not exceed maximum time). Remove with spatula/cloth and rinse thoroughly with water; pat dry. Avoid using on irritated/broken skin and avoid deodorants/perfumed products for 24 hours after use.
