Medical Disclaimer & Service Rules

Last updated: January 6, 2026

This page explains safety boundaries, certificate integrity rules, consultation limits, and user responsibilities. It is designed to protect patients, clinicians, and the quality of care.

Not for emergencies

If you have severe symptoms (e.g., chest pain, breathing difficulty, heavy bleeding, sudden weakness, confusion, seizures, loss of consciousness), seek immediate in-person emergency care or call your local emergency number.

Emergency symptoms require in-person care

PingMeDoc is not designed to diagnose or treat emergencies online. If you are worried, act early and seek urgent care.

Integrity rules are strict

We do not support false or backdated certificates. Misuse may lead to rejection and account restrictions.

Privacy and minimal disclosure

Share only what is required for the service. Avoid uploading unnecessary identity or medical documents.

1) Scope of the platform

What PingMeDoc provides and what it does not.

PingMeDoc supports healthcare workflows such as lab bookings, pharmacy ordering, certificate requests, consultations, and health tools. Some services may involve third-party providers (for example, labs, logistics, or payment gateways). Timelines, availability, and acceptance may vary based on provider capacity, clinical appropriateness, and user-specific requirements.

PingMeDoc does not provide emergency services. The platform is not intended to replace an in-person clinical examination when one is required.

2) Non-emergency use only

If you are unsure whether it is urgent, treat it as urgent.

Do not use PingMeDoc for emergencies or time-critical medical decisions. If symptoms are severe, rapidly worsening, or you suspect overdose/poisoning, seek immediate in-person care.

  • Severe breathing difficulty, chest pain, severe drowsiness, seizures, confusion, collapse.
  • Severe dehydration (very low urine, lethargy), uncontrolled bleeding, major injury.
  • Suspected overdose, poisoning, or serious allergic reaction.

3) Tools and informational content

Calculators and articles are guidance only.

Tools (calculators, reports) and informational pages are for general guidance and clarity. They do not replace a clinician’s judgement, diagnosis, or prescription.

Always verify inputs (units, weight, dosage strength, dates). If anything looks incorrect or you are unsure, consult a clinician before acting on the output.

4) Consultation boundaries

Tele-consultations have limits; some problems require physical examination.

Consultations are intended for guidance, triage, and follow-up when appropriate. Certain symptoms and conditions require in-person evaluation (including physical exam, vitals, or investigations) and cannot be safely managed online.

Clinicians may refuse or redirect a consultation if online assessment is not clinically appropriate.

5) Certificate integrity rules

Certificates are medical-legal documents. Misuse is not supported.

  • Certificates are issued only after appropriate review by a registered medical practitioner.
  • No backdated or false certificates. Requests asking for inaccurate information may be rejected.
  • Provide accurate name, dates, addressee, and required format (if your HR/college needs it).
  • Issuance depends on clinical appropriateness and adequate information.

6) Pharmacy ordering rules

Prescription handling and safe use rules.

  • Some medicines require a valid prescription. Upload the prescription when requested.
  • Do not attempt to purchase restricted medicines without appropriate authorization.
  • Orders may be delayed, modified, or cancelled if regulatory or safety checks require it.

7) Lab bookings and reports

Sample collection, fasting, and interpretation boundaries.

  • Follow test preparation instructions (fasting, timing, medication notes) shown during booking.
  • Lab reports are clinical data and may require clinician interpretation in context of symptoms/history.
  • Reference ranges can vary by lab method; do not self-diagnose from a single value.

8) Privacy and data minimisation

Share only what is required for the service.

Avoid uploading unnecessary personal identifiers or unrelated medical documents. Use the platform responsibly and share information only with the organisation that requires it (HR/college/authority).

If you believe any submitted information is incorrect or should be removed, contact support.

9) Your responsibilities

Accuracy and lawful usage are mandatory.

  • Provide accurate details and relevant supporting information where applicable.
  • Do not upload forged documents or impersonate another person.
  • Use the platform lawfully and respectfully.
  • Keep your login credentials secure; notify support if you suspect unauthorized access.
