Uses & Benefits
Helps reduce acne marks and hyperpigmentation, controls excess oil/sebum, minimizes appearance of enlarged pores, supports skin barrier in oily/acne-prone skin.
How It Works
Niacinamide reduces inflammation and helps regulate sebum production, which can improve acne-prone and oily skin. It also inhibits transfer of melanosomes to skin cells, helping fade dark spots, and supports ceramide synthesis to strengthen the skin barrier.
Directions for Use
For external use only. After cleansing and drying the face, apply 2–3 drops evenly over face and neck (avoid eyes/lips). Use once daily initially; may increase to twice daily if tolerated. Follow with moisturizer and apply sunscreen in the daytime.
Side Effects
Mild burning or stinging, redness, dryness, peeling, itching, irritation, rash
Warnings & Precautions
Patch test before first use. Avoid contact with eyes, lips, and broken/irritated skin. Discontinue and consult a dermatologist if severe irritation, swelling, or allergic reaction occurs. Use sunscreen during the day; active serums may increase sensitivity in some users. If you have very sensitive skin or active eczema/rosacea, use with caution and start slowly.
Drug Interactions
Generally compatible with most skincare. Using alongside strong exfoliants (AHA/BHA), retinoids, or benzoyl peroxide may increase irritation—introduce gradually and consider alternating use if sensitive. No clinically significant systemic drug interactions expected with topical use.
