Cilnidipine 10 mg + Metoprolol succinate (prolonged release) 50 mg
Hypertension, hypertension with tachycardia/palpitations (as prescribed)
Cilnidipine lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels through calcium channel blockade. Metoprolol succinate ER lowers heart rate and reduces cardiac workload by selectively blocking beta-1 receptors, improving BP and heart rate control.
Take once daily as prescribed, preferably with/after food. Swallow whole; do not crush or chew the ER tablet. Do not stop abruptly; taper under doctor supervision.
Common side effects of Cilacar M 10/50 Tablet may include:
Caution in asthma/COPD, diabetes (masks hypoglycemia), thyroid disease, peripheral vascular disease, and heart conduction problems. May cause bradycardia and hypotension; monitor BP and pulse. Seek medical help for fainting, wheeze, very slow pulse, or worsening heart failure symptoms.
