Known side effects of Sitabite 50 Tablet include Headache, nasopharyngitis (common cold), upper respiratory tract infection, nausea, diarrhoea, stomach discomfort, dizziness, hypoglycaemia (especially with sulfonylurea/insulin). Not everyone experiences these side effects.

Important Warnings

Not for type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis. Use with caution and dose-adjust in renal impairment; monitor kidney function. Seek urgent care for severe abdominal pain (possible pancreatitis) or signs of allergic reaction/angioedema; severe joint pain has been reported with DPP-4 inhibitors. If used with insulin or sulfonylureas, risk of low blood sugar increases—dose reduction of the other agent may be needed. Monitor for symptoms of heart failure in at-risk patients.
