Amylmetacresol and 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol are local antiseptics with antimicrobial action in the mouth and throat. They help reduce microbial load and provide soothing relief, reducing soreness and irritation.
Lozenge for oral use: dissolve slowly in the mouth; do not chew or swallow whole. Adults and children (typically ≥6 years): 1 lozenge every 2–3 hours as needed; do not exceed the maximum daily limit as per pack label. Use for short duration; consult a doctor if symptoms persist beyond 2–3 days or worsen.

Do not use if allergic to amylmetacresol, 2,4-dichlorobenzyl alcohol or any excipients/flavours. Not recommended for young children who may choke (follow label age guidance). If fever, severe sore throat, difficulty swallowing/breathing, or symptoms persist, seek medical advice. Use with caution in diabetes if the lozenge contains sugar (check pack for sugar-free claim).
