Voglibose (0.3mg)
Type 2 diabetes mellitus (to control post-meal and overall blood glucose) when diet and exercise alone are insufficient; used alone or with other antidiabetic medicines as prescribed.
Voglibose inhibits intestinal alpha-glucosidase enzymes, delaying carbohydrate digestion and reducing post-meal blood sugar spikes. Metformin decreases glucose production in the liver and improves insulin sensitivity, lowering fasting and overall blood glucose.
Tablet for oral use. Usually taken with meals; voglibose is typically taken just before the first bite of each main meal. Swallow whole with water; follow the dose and schedule advised by your doctor and monitor blood glucose regularly.

A substitute contains the same active ingredient (salt), in the same strength, as Vogs M 0.3 Tablet. The medicine inside is the same — the brand name, manufacturer and price are what differ.
All medicines sold in India, branded or generic, must meet the quality standards set by the national drug regulator (CDSCO). A lower price does not mean lower quality.
Please confirm with your doctor or pharmacist before switching brands — they will check that the strength and form match your prescription.
Use with caution in kidney or liver impairment; metformin is generally avoided in severe renal dysfunction due to risk of lactic acidosis. Temporarily stop metformin before/after iodinated contrast studies and during major surgery as advised. Seek urgent care for symptoms of lactic acidosis (deep/rapid breathing, severe weakness, muscle pain, abdominal discomfort). Voglibose may cause significant gas/diarrhoea; avoid in intestinal obstruction or severe inflammatory bowel disease. Monitor renal function, HbA1c, and vitamin B12 with long-term use.
