How It Works
Saccharomyces boulardii is a probiotic yeast that helps restore normal intestinal microflora and inhibits growth/toxin effects of some diarrhea-causing pathogens. It supports gut barrier function and may shorten duration of diarrhea when used as an adjunct with rehydration.
Directions for Use
Take as advised by doctor; commonly 1 sachet 1-2 times daily. Mix contents with water/ORS or cool/room-temperature food; do not mix with hot liquids. Maintain hydration with ORS; separate from antibiotics by ~2 hours if possible.

Warnings & Precautions
Use caution in immunocompromised patients, critically ill patients, and those with central venous catheters (rare risk of fungemia). Stop and seek care if fever, persistent diarrhea, blood in stool, severe dehydration, or symptoms worsen.

Antifungals (may reduce probiotic effect), broad-spectrum antibiotics (may be used but separate dosing as advised)
