Foloup 100MG Dt contains Cefpodoxime Proxetil (100mg) and is used for this medicine is used. Prescription required.

This medicine is used in the treatment of bacterial infection, chest infection, urinary infection, ear and throat infection and typhoid.

Cefpodoxime kills the bacteria causing your infection by destroying the cell wall that holds them together.

Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it unless your doctor has told you to. Take it with or just after food. Taking it at about the same time each day helps you remember. Follow the dose and the duration written on your prescription.

Loose motions, Nausea, Stomach pain, Rash, Thrush

Finish the whole course even after you feel better — stopping early breeds resistant bacteria. Tell your doctor if you have ever had a severe reaction to penicillin; a small proportion of people react to both groups. Report severe or watery loose motions during or after the course rather than treating them yourself. Several medicines in this group are on Schedule H1 precisely because overuse drives antibiotic resistance. Take it only when a doctor has prescribed it for you.

Antacids, iron and zinc reduce absorption — separate them by a couple of hours. Tell your doctor if you take a blood thinner.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
