Rablet Z 20mg/75mg Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Rabeprazole and Zinc Carnosine which relieve symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI). It works by reducing the amount of acid in the stomach which helps relieve acid-related indigestion and heartburn. Zinc Carnosine is a nutritional supplement which speeds up the healing of ulcers in stomach and intestine.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Rablet Z 20mg/75mg Capsule is to be taken on an empty stomach.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Take it on an empty stomach, about half an hour to an hour before your first meal — this is when the acid pumps are most active and the medicine works best. Long-term use has been linked to low magnesium and low vitamin B12, and to a higher risk of bone fracture. Review the need with your doctor rather than continuing indefinitely. Tell your doctor if acidity comes with difficulty swallowing, vomiting, weight loss, or black stools — these need investigation, not a longer course. Do not stop a long course abruptly; acid can rebound. Your doctor will taper it. Loose motions with high fever, blood in the stool or severe abdominal pain need a doctor, not a home remedy. Oral rehydration salts and fluids matter more than any medicine when you have loose motions — dehydration is the real danger, especially in children and older people. Take a probiotic a couple of hours apart from an antibiotic so the antibiotic does not simply kill it. Do not use an anti-motility medicine such as loperamide if you have a fever or blood in the stool.

Reduces the absorption of some antifungals, iron and certain HIV medicines. Tell your doctor if you take clopidogrel, methotrexate or a blood thinner. Antibiotics reduce the effect of probiotics taken at the same time.

Store below 30°C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Some probiotic preparations ask to be refrigerated — follow the pack. Keep out of the reach of children.
