Barrier protection for hands during sterile procedures to reduce risk of cross-contamination and exposure to blood/body fluids; used in hospitals, clinics, laboratories and during minor/major procedures
These gloves provide a physical barrier that reduces direct contact with microorganisms, blood and other potentially infectious materials. Sterility helps lower the risk of introducing contaminants into a sterile field, while the powdered interior aids donning.
Use as a single-use sterile glove. Open pack aseptically, don on clean, dry hands (follow sterile technique for procedures). Discard after one use or if torn/punctured; do not wash or reuse.
Allergic reactions (latex allergy), skin irritation, contact dermatitis, itching, rash, redness
Contains natural rubber latex which may cause severe allergic reactions (including anaphylaxis) in sensitized individuals. Powdered latex gloves can increase risk of sensitization/airborne exposure—use powder-free or non-latex alternatives if allergy/asthma present. Do not use if packaging is damaged or glove appears compromised. Not a substitute for hand hygiene; change gloves between patients/tasks. Keep away from oils/solvents that can degrade latex.
Oils, petroleum-based products and some chemicals/solvents can weaken latex; residual antiseptics/lotions may affect glove integrity depending on formulation
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources and moisture; keep in original packaging until use
