Enzyme-inducing antiepileptics (carbamazepine
phenytoin
oxcarbazepine) may reduce perampanel levels; valproate and levetiracetam generally have minimal effect. Alcohol and other CNS depressants increase sedation and dizziness. May reduce efficacy of hormonal contraceptives at higher doses—use additional contraception as advised.
