Composition

Ambroxol (7.5mg) + Guaifenesin (12.5mg) + Terbutaline (0.25mg)

Uses of Asthakind Syrup

Relief of productive cough with mucus, chest congestion, wheezing and bronchospasm in conditions such as bronchitis, asthma and COPD

How it works

Terbutaline is a beta-2 bronchodilator that relaxes airway smooth muscles to ease breathing. Bromhexine acts as a mucolytic to thin and loosen thick mucus, while guaiphenesin helps expectoration. Menthol provides a soothing effect and helps relieve throat/chest irritation.

Directions for use

Take by mouth using a measuring cup/spoon. Usually taken 2-3 times daily as advised by the doctor; may be taken with or without food. Shake well before use and drink adequate fluids to help loosen mucus.
