Important Warnings

Do not stop abruptly (risk of rebound angina/arrhythmia). Use with caution in asthma/COPD (may cause bronchospasm), diabetes (may mask hypoglycemia symptoms), peripheral vascular disease, heart failure, AV block, and liver impairment. Monitor pulse and blood pressure; seek medical help for wheezing, severe dizziness, fainting, or very slow pulse.

digoxin
amiodarone
other antihypertensives
clonidine (withdrawal effects)
insulin/oral antidiabetics (masked hypoglycemia)
NSAIDs (may reduce antihypertensive effect)
CYP inhibitors like cimetidine/fluoxetine (increase propranolol levels)
CYP inducers like rifampicin (decrease levels)
