Clindamycin 1% w/w + Nicotinamide (Niacinamide) 4% w/w (topical gel)
Acne vulgaris (inflammatory acne), pimples with redness and swelling; helps in acne marks and oily skin control as supportive care
Clindamycin inhibits bacterial protein synthesis and reduces Cutibacterium acnes, decreasing inflammation. Nicotinamide has anti-inflammatory effects and may reduce sebum and improve skin barrier, helping reduce redness and acne lesions.
External use only. Apply a thin layer to clean, dry affected skin once or twice daily as advised; avoid eyes, mouth and mucosa; use moisturizer/sunscreen if dryness or sensitivity occurs.
Common side effects of Cleargel Nico Gel may include:
Discontinue if severe irritation or persistent diarrhea occurs. Avoid overuse and combining with multiple irritant acne products unless advised. Use caution in sensitive skin, eczema, or history of colitis.
