Bisacodyl 10 mg (suppository)
Constipation, bowel evacuation before procedures when advised
Bisacodyl is a stimulant laxative that increases intestinal motility and promotes water and electrolyte secretion into the bowel. As a suppository it acts locally in the rectum to trigger a bowel movement.
For rectal use only. Insert one suppository into the rectum, preferably after meals or at bedtime, as directed. Wash hands before and after use; effect usually occurs within 15-60 minutes.

Do not use for more than a few days unless advised. Avoid if intestinal obstruction, acute abdomen, severe dehydration, or unexplained abdominal pain with vomiting. Overuse may cause electrolyte imbalance and dependence.
