Torsemide 5 mg + Spironolactone 25 mg
Edema (fluid retention) in heart failure, liver cirrhosis or kidney disease; hypertension when combination diuretic therapy is indicated
Torsemide promotes salt and water excretion by inhibiting reabsorption in the loop of Henle, reducing fluid overload and blood pressure. Spironolactone blocks aldosterone, increasing sodium excretion while conserving potassium and reducing aldosterone-driven fluid retention.
Take as directed by the doctor, usually once daily in the morning. Can be taken with or without food; maintain adequate hydration as advised. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function and electrolytes (especially potassium) may be required.
Common side effects of Dytor Plus 5 Tablet may include:
May cause dehydration and electrolyte disturbances; spironolactone can raise potassium. Use caution in kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, gout, and in elderly. Avoid potassium supplements/salt substitutes unless prescribed. Report severe weakness, confusion, fainting, reduced urination, or irregular heartbeat.
