Sodium alginate forms a protective floating barrier over stomach contents, helping prevent reflux into the esophagus. The antacids (calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate) neutralize gastric acid to reduce burning and discomfort.
Shake well before use. Typically taken after meals and at bedtime or as directed. Use a measuring cup/spoon; avoid taking other oral medicines at the same time (keep a gap).
