Important Warnings

Use with caution in asthma (may rarely cause bronchospasm) and in patients with history of peptic ulcer/bleeding. Stop and seek medical help if wheezing, chest tightness, facial swelling or severe rash occurs. If cough persists, fever develops, or sputum becomes blood-stained, consult a doctor. Not for self-use in young children unless prescribed.

Drug Interactions

Activated charcoal (may reduce effect)
antitussives/cough suppressants (may cause mucus retention)
nitroglycerin and other nitrates (may increase hypotension/headache)
certain antibiotics if mixed together in the same solution (separate dosing where applicable)
