What is Oflox 200 Tablet used for?

Treatment of susceptible bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections
prostatitis
respiratory tract infections (e.g.
bronchitis
pneumonia)
gastrointestinal infections (including traveller’s diarrhoea)

and certain sexually transmitted infections as prescribed.

How Oflox 200 Tablet Works

Ofloxacin is a fluoroquinolone antibiotic that inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV. This blocks DNA replication and repair, leading to bacterial cell death.

Dosage & Directions

Take by mouth as prescribed by the doctor, usually once or twice daily. Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day and complete the full course. Avoid taking with milk/dairy, antacids, or iron/calcium/zinc supplements close to the dose (keep a 2–4 hour gap).

Always follow your doctor's prescription. Do not self-medicate.
