Wound cleaning and dressing, absorption of blood/exudate, applying antiseptic/ointment, covering minor cuts, abrasions and post-procedure sites
Gauze swabs provide a physical barrier that helps protect the wound from contamination. The porous cotton gauze absorbs blood and wound exudate, keeping the area cleaner and aiding dressing changes.
Use with clean hands or sterile forceps. Clean the wound as advised, then place the gauze swab over the area and secure with tape/bandage. Change as needed or as directed by a healthcare professional; do not reuse single-use swabs.
