Dispovan Syringe

Sterile disposable syringe 5 mL (medical device; typically polypropylene barrel/plunger with rubber gasket; needle may or may not be included depending on pack)

Used to measure and administer or withdraw fluids/medicines (e.g., injections, aspiration, flushing/irrigation) in hospitals/clinics and home care as advised by a healthcare professional.

A syringe is a mechanical device that creates suction or pressure via a plunger inside a calibrated barrel. Pulling the plunger draws fluid in; pushing the plunger expels fluid through the nozzle/needle for accurate delivery.

Single-use, sterile device. Open pouch only when ready to use; attach a compatible needle/cannula if required; draw up medicine to the required 5 mL scale marking after removing air bubbles; administer as instructed by a healthcare professional. Dispose immediately after use in a sharps container; do not reuse or recap needles.

Injection site pain, redness, swelling, bruising, bleeding, infection (if non-sterile technique), needle-stick injury

For single use only—do not reuse. Do not use if pouch is torn, seal is broken, product is damaged, or sterility is doubtful. Use aseptic technique to prevent infection. Keep out of reach of children; risk of choking/needle injury. Dispose as biomedical waste (sharps) to prevent needle-stick injuries and disease transmission.

No drug interactions (device). Compatibility depends on medicines/needles used.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Keep in original sterile packaging until use.
