Important Warnings

Risk of severe hypoglycaemia—monitor sugars regularly and carry fast-acting glucose. Dose adjustments may be needed during illness, changes in diet/exercise, renal or hepatic impairment, and when switching insulin brands/strengths (200 IU/mL is a high-strength insulin—avoid dosing errors). Do not use during episodes of hypoglycaemia. Use with caution in patients with recurrent hypoglycaemia or impaired awareness.
