A small drop of capillary blood is applied to the strip, where glucose reacts with enzymes on the strip. The meter measures the resulting electrical signal and converts it into a blood glucose reading.

Use only with Accu-Chek Instant glucometer. Wash and dry hands, insert strip into meter, apply a small blood drop to the strip edge until the test starts, wait for the reading. Use each strip once; do not reuse. Follow the meter user manual for exact steps.

Pain or bruising at finger-prick site, skin irritation, infection risk if lancets are reused

For in-vitro diagnostic use only. Use only with compatible Accu-Chek Instant meter; incompatible meters may give incorrect results. Do not use expired or damaged strips; keep cap tightly closed and remove strip only when ready to test. Results may be affected by insufficient sample, extreme temperature/humidity, contaminated hands, or improper storage. Dispose used strips and lancets safely; do not share lancing devices to avoid infection transmission.

Interference may occur with certain substances/conditions depending on meter/strip system (e.g., very high hematocrit/low hematocrit, severe dehydration); refer to manufacturer instructions for known interferences

Store in original vial with cap tightly closed, in a cool dry place away from heat, moisture and direct sunlight. Do not refrigerate or freeze. Use strips immediately after removing from vial.
