How It Works
Dextromethorphan is a centrally acting antitussive. It suppresses the cough reflex by acting on the cough center in the brain, reducing the urge to cough.
Directions for Use
Take by mouth using a measuring cup/spoon. Usually taken every 6–8 hours as needed; follow the label/doctor’s advice. Can be taken with or without food. Do not exceed the recommended dose; not for prolonged use without medical advice.

Drug Interactions
MAO inhibitors (e.g., selegiline, linezolid) and within 14 days of stopping them, SSRIs/SNRIs/TCAs (risk of serotonin syndrome), other CNS depressants (alcohol, sedatives), serotonergic agents (tramadol, triptans), CYP2D6 inhibitors (e.g., fluoxetine, paroxetine, quinidine) may increase effects
