How It Works
Ibuprofen is an NSAID that reduces prostaglandin formation by inhibiting COX enzymes. This helps lower fever and relieve pain and inflammation.
Directions for Use
Shake well before use. Measure dose with a calibrated cup/syringe as per child’s weight/doctor advice; usually given after food or milk. Do not exceed recommended daily dose; maintain adequate hydration.
Use with caution in dehydration, kidney disease, history of stomach ulcer/bleeding, and asthma triggered by NSAIDs. Avoid giving with other NSAIDs. Seek medical help if child has persistent vomiting, severe abdominal pain, blood in vomit/stool, breathing difficulty, or rash.
