Prevention of atherothrombotic events (heart attack, stroke) in patients with atherosclerotic disease; secondary prevention after myocardial infarction (MI) or ischemic stroke; peripheral arterial disease; used with aspirin in acute coronary syndrome (ACS) and after coronary stent placement as advised by a cardiologist.
