Fruselac Tablet contains Furosemide (20mg) + Spironolactone (50mg) and is used for resistant. Prescription required.

Fruselac Tablet contains two medicines: furosemide and spironolactone, which act on different parts of the kidney to remove excess fluid. Furosemide is a short-acting loop diuretic that helps the kidneys eliminate sodium, chloride, and water through urine, thereby reducing fluid overload and blood pressure. Spironolactone is a long-acting aldosterone antagonist that promotes the excretion of sodium and water while conserving potassium, helping maintain electrolyte balance and preventing potassium loss during treatment.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Fruselac Tablet should be taken with or after food. Avoid Fruselac Tablet with dietary sodium.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Take it in the morning so that passing urine does not disturb your sleep. Your doctor will check your salts and kidney function with blood tests — do not skip them. Report muscle cramps, marked weakness, confusion or an irregular heartbeat; these can be signs your potassium or sodium has fallen. In hot weather or during an illness with vomiting or loose motions, tell your doctor — you may become dehydrated quickly. This water tablet KEEPS potassium rather than losing it. Do not take potassium supplements or potassium-based salt substitutes with it unless your doctor has specifically told you to. Report muscle weakness, numbness or an irregular heartbeat — these can be signs potassium has risen too high. Breast tenderness or enlargement can occur in men; tell your doctor if it troubles you.

Anti-inflammatory painkillers blunt the effect and can strain the kidneys. Lithium and digoxin levels are affected; tell your doctor if you take either. Potassium-sparing types must not be combined with potassium supplements without supervision.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
