Xatilin 5 Tablet is an antidiabetic medication. It works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas and decreasing the hormones that raise blood sugar levels. This reduces the fasting and postmeal sugar levels.

Xatilin 5 Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Xatilin 5 Tablet is recommended.However, Xatilin 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and those on dialysis.
Xatilin 5 Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Xatilin 5 Tablet is recommended.However, the use of Xatilin 5 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
