Salicylic Acid 2% w/w (acne treatment active)

For acne-prone and oily skin; helps treat and prevent pimples, blackheads and whiteheads; reduces excess oil and unclogs pores.

Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxy acid (BHA) that penetrates into pores and exfoliates the lining to dissolve sebum and dead skin cells. It helps reduce comedones and inflammation, thereby preventing new breakouts.

Topical face wash: Wet face, apply a small amount, gently massage over affected areas for 20–30 seconds, then rinse thoroughly. Use once daily to start; may increase to twice daily if tolerated. Avoid contact with eyes and broken/irritated skin; use moisturizer and sunscreen if dryness occurs.

Dryness, peeling, redness, mild burning or stinging, irritation, itching

For external use only. Patch test before first use; stop use and consult a doctor if severe irritation, swelling or allergic reaction occurs. Avoid eyes, lips and mucous membranes; rinse with water if contact occurs. Do not use on broken skin. Use with caution if allergic to salicylates/aspirin. Excessive use may cause significant dryness/irritation; limit concurrent use with other strong exfoliants or acne actives.

Increased irritation with other topical retinoids (tretinoin/adapalene), benzoyl peroxide, azelaic acid, sulfur/resorcinol, alpha-hydroxy acids (glycolic/lactic), alcohol-based astringents or abrasive scrubs. Systemic interaction unlikely with rinse-off use; avoid combining with other salicylate products on large areas if sensitive.

Store at room temperature (below 30°C), tightly closed. Protect from excessive heat and direct sunlight. Keep out of reach of children.
