Prazopress 2 mg Tablet contains Prazosin (2mg) and is used for hypertension (high blood pressure). Prescription required.

Prazopress 2 Tablet is an alpha blocker. It lowers blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily through the body. In benign prostate hyperplasia, it relaxes the muscles in the prostate gland and makes it easier to pass urine, and reduces the need to urinate urgently or frequently.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Prazopress 2 Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Do not stop or change the dose of a heart medicine on your own. Report fainting, a very slow or very fast pulse, or new breathlessness. Keep every follow-up appointment — most of these medicines need periodic blood tests or an ECG.

Heart medicines interact widely. Tell your doctor and pharmacist about everything you take, including herbal products.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
