The pad absorbs menstrual fluid into an absorbent core and helps lock it away from the surface. A dry top sheet helps keep the surface feeling drier while the adhesive backing helps keep the pad in place.
Peel off the release paper and place the pad on the center of the underwear with the adhesive side down. If wings are present, wrap them around the underwear. Change every 4–6 hours or sooner if saturated; wash hands before and after changing.
