Used as a low-calorie sugar substitute for sweetening beverages and foods in people who want to reduce sugar/calorie intake, including individuals with diabetes or for weight management.

Aspartame and acesulfame potassium are high-intensity sweeteners that provide sweetness with negligible calories and minimal effect on blood glucose. They stimulate sweet taste receptors, allowing sugar replacement in diet.

Oral use. Add the recommended quantity of pellets to tea/coffee/milk or other beverages/recipes as per taste preference. Suitable for hot and cold preparations; avoid exceeding the daily intake advised on the label.

Generally well tolerated, headache, nausea, bloating, allergic reactions (rare)

Contains aspartame (source of phenylalanine) and is not suitable for patients with phenylketonuria (PKU). Use within acceptable daily intake; excessive consumption may cause gastrointestinal discomfort in some people. No clinically significant drug interactions known when used as a food sweetener at recommended intake.
