Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure), especially when single-drug therapy is inadequate; helps reduce risk of cardiovascular events in high-risk patients as advised by doctor.

Telmisartan is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB) that relaxes blood vessels by blocking angiotensin II action. Ramipril is an ACE inhibitor that reduces formation of angiotensin II and lowers aldosterone, further decreasing vascular resistance. Together they reduce blood pressure more effectively than either alone.

Take orally as prescribed, usually once daily at the same time each day, with or without food. Swallow whole with water; do not stop abruptly without medical advice.

Dizziness, lightheadedness, cough, fatigue, headache, nausea, diarrhea, low blood pressure, increased potassium (hyperkalemia), raised creatinine/renal function changes

Not recommended in pregnancy (can harm fetus); stop and consult doctor if pregnancy occurs. Use caution in kidney disease, renal artery stenosis, dehydration/diuretic use, heart failure, liver impairment, and in elderly. Monitor blood pressure, kidney function (creatinine) and potassium regularly. Risk of angioedema (swelling of face/lips/tongue) especially with ACE inhibitors—seek urgent care if it occurs. Avoid potassium supplements/salt substitutes unless prescribed.

Potassium supplements or potassium-sparing diuretics (spironolactone/amiloride), other antihypertensives and diuretics (additive hypotension), NSAIDs (ibuprofen/diclofenac—may reduce effect and worsen kidney function), lithium (toxicity risk), aliskiren (avoid in diabetes/renal impairment), trimethoprim (hyperkalemia risk)

Store at room temperature below 25°C, protected from moisture and light. Keep in original blister pack and out of reach of children.
