Tenepla Tablet

Tenepla Tablet contains Teneligliptin (20mg) and is used for type 2 diabetes mellitus. Prescription required.

Treatment of Type 2 diabetes mellitus

Tenepla Tablet is an antidiabetic medication. It works by increasing the release of insulin from the pancreas and decreasing the hormones that raise blood sugar levels. This reduces the fasting and postmeal sugar levels.

Tablet: Take exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow whole with water; do not crush or chew. Can be taken with or without food; take at the same time each day if advised.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Prescription-only (Schedule H). Use only under medical supervision. Do not self-medicate; inform your doctor about existing liver/kidney/heart problems, pregnancy/breastfeeding status, and all other medicines you take.

Low blood sugar is more likely when this is combined with a sulfonylurea or insulin; your doctor may lower that dose.

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep in original pack and out of reach of children.
