Used to manage thyroid hormone disorders; typically prescribed for hypothyroidism (underactive thyroid) or related thyroid hormone replacement needs (exact indication depends on composition).

If this product contains thyroid hormone (e.g., levothyroxine), it replaces deficient thyroid hormone in the body and helps normalize metabolism, energy levels, and organ function. The effect is gradual and dosing is individualized based on thyroid function tests.

Take exactly as prescribed by a doctor. If it is a thyroid hormone tablet, it is usually taken once daily on an empty stomach (typically morning), 30–60 minutes before food, with water; avoid taking it together with iron/calcium/antacids and maintain a consistent routine. Do not stop or change dose without medical advice.

Use only under medical supervision and with regular thyroid function monitoring. Over- or under-treatment can affect heart health, bones, mood, and pregnancy outcomes. Caution in heart disease (angina, arrhythmias), hypertension, osteoporosis, adrenal insufficiency, and in elderly patients. Seek urgent care for chest pain, severe palpitations, breathlessness, or signs of allergy.

Iron supplements, calcium supplements, aluminium/magnesium antacids, sucralfate, cholestyramine/colestipol, sevelamer, orlistat (reduce absorption); rifampicin, carbamazepine, phenytoin, sertraline (may alter levels); warfarin (may increase anticoagulant effect); antidiabetic medicines (dose adjustment may be needed).

Store at room temperature (below 25°C), protected from light and moisture. Keep in original pack and out of reach of children.
