Bradycardia
Tropine 0.6mg Injection is an anticholinergic medication. It works by blocking the activity of a chemical messenger (acetylcholine). This helps dry up secretions (saliva, sweat, etc.) from glands before surgery, increases a low heart rate and decreases intestinal contractions (spasms). It also works as an antidote in certain types of poisoning and reverses the side effects of certain muscle relaxing medicines.
Injection to be administered by a qualified healthcare professional in a hospital/clinic setting. Dose and route depend on the formulation and indication.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
Exact precautions depend on the active ingredient/strength and indication. Use only under medical supervision. Inform doctor about allergy history, pregnancy/breastfeeding status, glaucoma, prostate enlargement/urinary retention, heart disease/arrhythmias, liver/kidney disease, and current medicines.
Store as per label instructions. Generally keep at room temperature away from heat and direct light; do not freeze unless specified. Keep out of reach of children.
