Before you take it
Xevor 5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during pregnancy.<br>Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.
Xevor 5 mg Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.<br>Larger doses or more prolonged use of Xevor 5 mg Tablet may cause drowsiness and other effects in the baby or decrease the milk supply

Xevor 5 mg Tablet contains Levocetirizine (5mg) and is used for allergic conditions.
Treatment of Allergic conditions
Xevor 5 mg Tablet is an antihistaminic medication. It treats allergy symptoms such as such as itching, swelling, and rashes by blocking the effects of a chemical messenger (histamine) in the body.
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Xevor 5mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Xevor 5 mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Xevor 5 mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br>Use of Xevor 5 mg Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Xevor 5 mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment of Xevor 5 mg Tablet is recommended.
Sleepiness Fatigue Headache Dryness in mouth
Older antihistamines cause marked drowsiness — do not drive or operate machinery until you know how this affects you. Tell your doctor promptly about any change in mood, sleep, agitation or unusual thoughts while taking montelukast; this is uncommon but recognised. This relieves the symptoms of an allergy; it does not treat the cause, and it is not a treatment for an acute asthma attack. Seek emergency care for swelling of the lips, tongue or throat, or difficulty breathing.
Alcohol, sleeping tablets and other sedating medicines add to the drowsiness. Tell your doctor about all cold and cough preparations — many already contain an antihistamine.
Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
