Before you take it
Xtor 5 Tablet is highly unsafe to use during pregnancy.<br>Human and animal studies have shown significant adverse effects on the foetus. Please consult your doctor.
Xtor 5 Tablet is probably safe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggests that the drug does not represent a significant risk to the baby.

HMG-CoA reductase inhibitor that lowers hepatic cholesterol synthesis.
Take with or without food. Drink plenty of fluids. Finish the full course even if you feel better.

Xtor 5 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment of Xtor 5 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.<br>Use of Xtor 5 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease and active liver disease.
Muscle aches, elevated liver enzymes (usually mild).
Report unexplained muscle pain or dark urine; avoid excess alcohol.
Grapefruit juice raises the level of some statins — avoid it. Certain antibiotics, antifungals and fibrates increase the risk of muscle damage when combined.
Store at room temperature; protect from moisture.
