Important Warnings
Not for acute bronchospasm/quick relief. Use with caution in heart disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, seizures, and in patients prone to hypokalaemia. Risk of pneumonia in COPD and oral candidiasis—rinse mouth after use. Do not stop abruptly; seek medical advice if symptoms worsen or rescue inhaler use increases. Long-term/high-dose inhaled steroids may rarely cause adrenal suppression, reduced bone density, cataract/glaucoma; monitor if used for prolonged periods.
