Important Warnings

May cause drowsiness in some people—avoid driving/operating machinery if affected. Use with caution in kidney disease (levocetirizine dose adjustment may be needed). Not for sudden asthma attacks; keep a rescue inhaler if you have asthma. Montelukast has been associated with neuropsychiatric effects (sleep disturbance, agitation, mood changes, depression, suicidal thoughts); stop and seek medical help if these occur. Inform doctor if you have liver disease or are taking other allergy/asthma medicines.

Drug Interactions

Alergate Lm Tab may interact with the following:

Alcohol and other CNS depressants (increased drowsiness)
rifampicin/phenytoin/phenobarbital (may reduce montelukast levels)
gemfibrozil (may increase montelukast levels)
other sedating antihistamines or cough/cold products containing antihistamines
