Important Warnings

Use with caution in kidney or liver disease, dehydration, gout, diabetes, and electrolyte imbalance. May cause dizziness—avoid driving if affected. Monitor blood pressure, kidney function and electrolytes (especially potassium/sodium). Seek urgent help for severe allergic reaction, marked swelling, very low BP, or irregular heartbeat.

NSAIDs (may reduce effect and worsen kidney function)
lithium (increased toxicity with thiazides)
corticosteroids/diuretics (electrolyte loss)

antidiabetic medicines (may alter glucose control)
alcohol (increases dizziness)
