Important Warnings

May cause sleepiness/dizziness—avoid driving or operating machinery. Do not use with other cough/cold products containing similar ingredients. Use with caution in liver disease, asthma/COPD, glaucoma, enlarged prostate/urinary retention, and in elderly. Not recommended for children unless prescribed. Seek medical help if cough persists >7 days, is recurrent, or is accompanied by fever, rash, breathing difficulty, or thick/colored sputum.

Alcohol and other CNS depressants (increased drowsiness)
MAO inhibitors/linezolid/methylene blue (risk of serious reactions if dextromethorphan is present)
serotonergic medicines such as SSRIs/SNRIs/triptans (risk of serotonin syndrome if dextromethorphan is present)
sedating antihistamines
opioids
benzodiazepines
