• dizziness
• headache
• fatigue
• increased urination
• low blood pressure
• nausea
• electrolyte imbalance (low potassium/low sodium)
• increased uric acid
• increased blood sugar
• dehydration

Asar Ct 40/6.25 may interact with the following:

• Other antihypertensives (additive hypotension)
• diuretics and dehydration risk
• NSAIDs (may reduce effect and affect kidneys)
• lithium (toxicity risk)
• potassium supplements/potassium-sparing diuretics or salt substitutes (high potassium risk with ARB)
• ACE inhibitors or aliskiren (higher kidney/potassium risk
• avoid esp. in diabetes)
• steroids (electrolyte changes)
• antidiabetic medicines (may need dose adjustment)
