How ATIVAN 1MG TAB Works
Lorazepam is a benzodiazepine that enhances the effect of GABA (an inhibitory neurotransmitter) at GABA-A receptors in the brain. This produces anxiolytic, sedative, muscle-relaxant and anticonvulsant effects.
Dosage & Directions
Tablet for oral use. Take exactly as prescribed by the doctor, usually in divided doses; can be taken with or without food. Avoid abrupt discontinuation after regular use; dose is tapered gradually.
