Amlodipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes blood vessels, lowering blood pressure and improving blood flow to the heart. Atenolol is a selective beta-blocker that slows heart rate and reduces the heart’s workload, helping control blood pressure and prevent angina.
Take as prescribed by your doctor, usually once daily at the same time each day. Can be taken with or without food; swallow whole with water. Do not stop suddenly without medical advice.

Do not discontinue abruptly (may worsen angina/raise BP). Use with caution in asthma/COPD, diabetes (may mask hypoglycemia), thyroid disorders, peripheral vascular disease, heart failure, bradycardia, and conduction abnormalities. Monitor blood pressure and pulse regularly. Seek urgent help for severe dizziness/fainting, wheezing, swelling of face/lips, or chest pain worsening.
