Afogatran 150 contains Dabigatran (150mg). Prescription required.

Afogatran 150 Capsule is used to prevent blood clots. It helps prevent the formation of blood clots in legs, lungs, heart or any other parts of the body.

Afogatran 150 Capsule is a novel oral anticoagulant (NOAC). It works by preventing the formation of blood clots in the body.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Afogatran 150 Capsule may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Bleeding

Seek urgent care for black or tarry stools, blood in the vomit or urine, a severe headache, or bleeding that will not stop. Tell every doctor and dentist treating you that you are on a blood thinner, well before any procedure. Never stop this medicine on your own before surgery or dental work — stopping it carries its own risk, and the decision is your doctor's. Avoid contact sports and take care with razors and sharp tools.

Anti-inflammatory painkillers, including over-the-counter ones, sharply raise the bleeding risk. Combining two blood thinners multiplies the risk — never add one yourself. Tell your doctor about all herbal products; several affect clotting.

Store below 30°C in the original pack, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Keep out of the reach of children.
