Important Warnings

Use with caution in patients with kidney disease, history of kidney stones, hypercalcemia, hyperparathyroidism or sarcoidosis. Do not take high-dose calcium/vitamin D without medical advice. If pregnant/breastfeeding or taking multiple supplements, consult a doctor to avoid excess calcium/vitamin D.

Drug Interactions

Calcidot Tab may interact with the following:

Levothyroxine (separate by 4 hours)
tetracyclines/quinolones (separate by 2–6 hours)
bisphosphonates (separate by 30–60 minutes or as advised)
iron salts (separate by 2 hours)
thiazide diuretics (may increase calcium)
digoxin (risk of arrhythmia with hypercalcemia)
