What is Calcidot Tab used for?

Prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiency; supportive therapy in osteoporosis/osteopenia; adjunct in fracture healing and states of increased calcium requirement (e.g.

growing children).

How Calcidot Tab Works

Calcium supplementation replenishes body calcium stores required for bone mineralization, muscle function and nerve transmission. Vitamin D (if present) increases intestinal absorption of calcium and helps maintain normal blood calcium and phosphate levels.

Dosage & Directions

Tablet to be taken by mouth with water, preferably after food. Follow the dose and duration advised by the doctor; do not exceed recommended intake. If it is a chewable tablet, chew completely before swallowing; if it is a regular tablet, swallow whole.
