Cilnidipine 5 mg
Hypertension (high blood pressure)
Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker that relaxes and widens blood vessels by reducing calcium influx into smooth muscle. This decreases vascular resistance and lowers blood pressure.
Take as prescribed, typically once daily. May be taken with or without food; take at the same time daily. Do not crush or chew; do not stop abruptly without advice.
Common side effects of Cilaheart 5 Tablet may include:
May cause lightheadedness especially on standing; rise slowly. Caution in liver impairment and elderly. Regular BP monitoring is advised.
